SEASON 2: DECISION & SURRENDER

Your Current Season: Decision & Surrender

What This Means:

You know exactly what God is asking you to do in a specific area (domain) of your life, you just don't want to do it yet. The conviction is clear, but the courage feels absent. You're not confused anymore; you're conflicted. You're at a crossroads between comfort and calling.

Outer Signs:

  • You know what God is asking you to do next

  • You feel pressure to make a decision

  • You're at a crossroads between comfort and calling

  • Certain options feel "closed"

  • Delay feels uncomfortable now

  • Asking people to confirm what God already told you

Inner Experience:

  • Fear mixed with clarity

  • "I know what I should do, but…"

  • Wrestling with timing or cost

  • Awareness that obedience will require surrender

  • Desire to say yes, but hesitation remains

  • Feeling like you are disappointing God

What You Need Most Right Now: Courage

Your work is decision and obedience. Delay creates dissonance here. You can't hold onto the old and reach for the new at the same time. Alignment will cost you what no longer fits, but the cost of staying the same now feels greater than the cost of change.

Stop negotiating with God. Stop saying "I'll obey when I'm ready." Obey now. The way forward is shorter than you think; it's just one step of surrender.

Your Next Right Step:

You need to be confident in what God is asking you to do. To move from the Season of Decision and Surrender to another season requires:

Season of Decision and Surrender to Season of Practice and Faithfulness:

Spending meaningful time in your word and prayer. It may also require fasting (you can grab my 21-day fast devotional) to know God's will. The final step is coming into agreement with God.

Once you align with God's will and say YES in obedience, it's time to do the work in the Season of Practice and Faithfulness. This is where most of us start well, but then fall off because we don't have the proper systems, structure, and accountability. You rely on motivation, and when it fails, you ditch what God revealed to you.

That's exactly why I created the Steward Well Life Community for Christian women who are tired of being hearers of the word, but not doers. It's where we practice stewardship daily, aligning our plans to what God has entrusted to us.

Now, check your email (and your spam folder) because I am breaking down what this season looks like for the 10 areas (domains) in your life. I'm also sending you A.L.I.G.N. & S.U.B.M.I.T. You've heard God. Now comes the hard part, actually saying yes.

If you've been sitting on a clear word from God but fear keeps talking you out of it, this resource was made for you.
